Mupirocin Ointment 2% w/w
Banzista Mupirocin Ointment 2% w/w is a water-removable veterinary ointment formulated for the topical treatment of bacterial skin infections in canines, including superficial pyoderma caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus intermedius.
Derived from Pseudomonas fluorescens, mupirocin is an antimicrobial agent that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. This mupirocin ointment for dogs is effective against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Streptococcus species, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus species, and Enterobacter species.
Mupirocin demonstrates no cross-resistance with commonly used antibiotics, making this ointment for dogs a reliable and versatile option for managing bacterial dermatological infections.

Before treatment, the lesion should be cleansed. Ointment should be applied to the affected area twice a day. Apply a sufficient amount of ointment to completely cover the infected area.
Maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 30 days.
